Dentro de la Sociedad Española de Métodos Numéricos en Ingeniería (SEMNI) se establecen diferentes modalidades para sus miembros.
  • los miembros individuales  pueden ser cualquier persona interesada en el campo de los métodos numéricos en ingeniería;
  • la categoría de miembro institucional  está especialmente pensada para universidades o instituciones no lucrativas que trabajen en este campo;
  • los miembros empresariales, para todas aquellas empresas que tengan intereses en los métodos numéricos;
  • los miembros honoríficos  son aquellas personas que designa el propio Comité Ejecutivo de SEMNI por su especial relevancia en la investigación de los métodos numéricos en ingeniería.
  • los estudiantes interesados en esta temática cuentan desde hace sólo unos meses también con la posibilidad de ser miembros de esta Sociedad.

En cuanto a las cuotas, los miembros individuales deben pagar una cuota anual de 62,58 euros. Por su parte, los miembros institucionales y los empresariales tienen que pagar anualmente 600 euros. SEMNI también ha pensado en los bolsillos de los más jóvenes, por este motivo la cuota anual para los socios estudiantes menores de cuarenta años será gratuita los primeros 4 años . Los socios estudiantes deberán presentar anualmente una acreditación (cópia de matrícula, etc) de su condición de estudiantes.

New Members

There are five types of membership to the Spanish Society for Numerical Methods in Engineering (SEMNI):
  • Individual members, comprising in general any person interested in the field of numerical methods in engineering.
  • Institutional members, which corresponds to universities or non-profit institutions in the field of numerical methods in engineering.
  • Industry, members, for all the companies interested in the field of numerical methods in engineering.
  • Honorary members are those persons designed by the Executive Committee of SEMNI due to the relevance of their research in the field of numerical methods in engineering.
  • Students interested in the topics of the society can also be members.

With respect to membership fees, individual members fees are set to 62,58 euros per year. Institutional and Industrial members fees are set to 600 euros per year. For student members under the age of forty , the fee will be free of charge for the fist 4 years . Student members will need to present a proof of studies registration annually.
